The Yves Landry Foundation has had tremendous impact on manufacturers across all regions of Ontario, cascading growth into every community within their place of business. During our existence, we have been blessed to have provided funding in the amount of $63.4M+ to 1,857 Ontario manufacturing and related businesses. These investments in individuals and organizations have spurred growth strategies, enabled productivity improvements, and accelerated process and product innovations. Our support has had a profound ripple effect to not only the provincial economy, but local municipalities large and small, reaching across the borders of our nation and even globally.
Key Highlights:
•88.5K individuals trained
•9.6K direct jobs created
•13.2K jobs saved
•171 communities across 44 Ontario districts reached
•AIME@Home program played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting manufacturers to quickly pivot and help resolve supply chain shortages, providing critical products and services to sustain the healthcare care industry
•AIME Green program gained participation from 50 companies to adopt and adapt sustainable, green manufacturing principles, including representation from: 10 women led, 5 youth led (32 yrs & under), 10 newcomer led, 12 black led, and 9 racialized led businesses
•Programs supported youth and marginalized populations:
•Get it in Gear Student program allowed 300 students across 7 high schools to get up close to vintage automotive restoration in a living-learning lab, building passion, inspiring confidence and encouraging them to explore skilled trades careers
•Get in in Gear Indigenous Job Skilling program supported 8 recovering adults, 50% of them female, to improve soft skills and learn mechanical skills with a hands-on, 20-week vintage automotive restoration lab, helping them re-enter the workforce

There are many programs, services and financial resources available, depending on the region of your business, with various application criteria. We encourage you to check with your regional federal and provincial resources, such as:
•FedDev Ontario, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. FedDev Ontario makes strategic investments to continue building a diverse and inclusive economic ecosystem that focuses on sustainable job creation, long-term investments in clean growth projects, global competitiveness and increased productivity in southern Ontario.
•FedNor, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario. Through its programs and services, and through its financial support of projects that lead to job creation and economic growth, FedNor works with businesses and community partners to build a stronger Northern Ontario.
